Position Overview
Seaside Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist for its night shift team in Seaside, Oregon. The position is part of a large healthcare system serving communities across Oregon, including coastal communities, the Columbia Gorge, wine country, southern Oregon, and the Portland area.
The successful candidate will provide ultrasound technologist services while maintaining the certifications, licenses, registrations, and eligibility requirements specified for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist at Seaside Hospital.
- Support ultrasound services during the full-time night shift.
- Maintain education and professional credentials required for certification, licensure, or registration.
- Maintain board eligibility for certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Obtain and maintain the applicable Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary credential upon hire.
- Maintain National Provider BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Complete required certification from the American Registry for Sonography within 6 months, or 180 days, of hire.
- Ensure new-graduate certification and temporary license requirements are completed within the stated hiring timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Board eligibility for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary credential upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Certification from the American Registry for Sonography within 6 months, or 180 days, of hire.
- New graduates must obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license or obtain one within 6 months of hire.
- Availability for a full-time night shift position in Seaside, Oregon.
