About the role
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Technical Trainer / Military Operation Specialist to configure, test, integrate, and support complex communications systems while delivering classroom and hands-on training. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance currently in use, a Bachelor’s Degree, and four years of prior relevant experience, with occasional travel to support training and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems for testing across multiple platforms.
- Load custom software and commercial software onto applicable platforms and support system testing.
- Develop and lead structured classroom training and hands-on training sessions that help users understand and retain technical information.
- Build, configure, troubleshoot, and integrate new and existing hardware packages.
- Support system upgrades, application deployment, and enhancements to system capabilities.
- Take ownership of the hardware configuration process and develop a thorough understanding of the system.
- Train users to operate the system effectively and adapt instruction based on participant needs.
- Support day-to-day training system operations and troubleshoot issues to keep systems running smoothly.
- Manage training classes from start to finish, ensuring participants complete training confident and capable.
- Work closely with design teams to stay current on system updates and incorporate feedback into training materials.
- Travel occasionally to support training and system integration at different locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance that is currently being used.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Four years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with test procedures.
- Experience setting up, testing, configuring, troubleshooting, and integrating complex communications systems.
- Experience with hardware and software configuration, documentation, system upgrades, and application deployment.
- Ability to deliver classroom training and hands-on training for technical systems.
- Ability to support training system operations and occasional travel for training and system integration.
