About the role

The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler supports 24/7 maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility by planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance work, plant projects, craft personnel, and contractors. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution, and legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects, and project assignments throughout the facility.
  • Develop project layouts and scopes of work for maintenance activities and plant projects.
  • Purchase required parts and materials using bills of material.
  • Prepare basic specifications and support the design and development of prints.
  • Submit contract bids for quotation and award.
  • Facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Provide daily schedules, step-by-step plans, and equipment outage schedules.
  • Provide Crafts and Schedulers with detailed plans, parts, and materials needed to complete assigned work.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks, projects, contractors, and vendors to support efficient execution.
  • Help ensure maintenance work is completed to high-quality standards and within required timeframes.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
