About the role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Technical Trainer / US Military to support hardware and software testing, configuration, integration, documentation, and technical training in Palm Bay, Florida. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance that is currently being used, along with experience in test procedures, technical training, and assembling precision equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems used for testing across multiple platforms.
  • Load custom and commercial software onto hardware and software platforms to support testing activities.
  • Develop structured training sessions that help users understand, apply, and retain technical information.
  • Lead technical training sessions and guide participants through system operation and configuration activities.
  • Build, configure, and integrate new and existing hardware packages for system upgrades.
  • Roll out upgrades, deploy applications, and enhance system capabilities through effective hardware configuration.
  • Take responsibility for the hardware configuration process and train others to use configured systems effectively.
  • Assemble precision equipment in support of technical training and testing activities.
  • Support day-to-day training system operations and help maintain reliable system performance.
  • Manage training classes from preparation through completion, ensuring participants leave confident and capable.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance that is currently being used.
  • Experience with test procedures.
  • Background in training or technical training.
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and documenting hardware and software systems for testing.
  • Experience loading custom and commercial software onto multiple platforms.
  • Experience assembling precision equipment.
  • Ability to develop and lead structured training sessions.
  • Ability to build, configure, and integrate hardware packages.
  • Ability to support hardware configuration, application deployment, upgrades, and training system operations.
