Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical, operational, and fiscal performance of the designated emergency services unit.
- Develop strategy and vision for unit initiatives and execute short- and long-term priorities.
- Provide administrative leadership to clinical managers and supervisors through evidence-based leadership practices.
- Support nursing professional practice and promote consistent delivery of quality patient care.
- Respond to patient and physician complaints using appropriate interpersonal techniques and a focus on restoring confidence.
- Meet patient and patient family needs while maintaining responsibility for patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
- Maintain effectiveness during major changes in work responsibilities, processes, requirements, structures, or cultures.
- Build effective relationships with customers and internal partners by promoting openness, trust, and confidence.
- Communicate a compelling vision of the future state and explain how business outcomes will change as organizational values become reality.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 3 years of experience in all aspects of critical care nursing.
- Current RN license within the state of practice.
- Successful completion of a critical care course.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- AHA PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC certification within one year of hire.
