About the role
The Director, Health – North America will lead regional health and wellness strategy across Henkel's North American administrative, research and development, and production sites. The role oversees occupational health, medical response, travel health, pandemic preparedness, employee wellness, mental health, health promotion, hygiene, and provider relationships while partnering with Safety, Health & Environment, HR, Legal, and regional leadership. Candidates must bring 10 years of relevant healthcare experience and be a Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctor, Physician Assistant, or hold a master's degree, with willingness to travel up to 20%.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Health North America management strategies, policies, and practices in collaboration with Safety, Health & Environment, HR, and Legal.
- Lead the strategic delivery of Health and Wellness programs across North America.
- Align regional health activities with local regulations, corporate standards, and corporate policies.
- Oversee programs covering Occupational Health & Medicine, Medical Response, Travel Health, Pandemic Preparedness, Employee Wellness, Mental Health, Health Promotion, and Hygiene.
- Set direction for the management of Health providers and related agreements.
- Provide technical advice on medical insurance and drive initiatives supporting employee health and well-being.
- Consult on and assess Health programs and conditions across administrative, research and development, and production sites throughout the region.
- Represent Health North America professionally in regional leadership meetings.
- Participate in cross-regional governance and contribute regional health perspectives to broader organizational decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctor, or Physician Assistant, or hold a master's degree.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Experience supporting Health and Wellness, Occupational Health & Medicine, Medical Response, Travel Health, Pandemic Preparedness, Employee Wellness, Mental Health, Health Promotion, and Hygiene programs.
- Experience working with local regulations, corporate standards and policies, medical insurance, and employee health and well-being initiatives.
