Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs across the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support ISO 14001 and OHSAS/ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and facilities teams to identify workplace and environmental risks.
  • Investigate incidents and implement engineering controls and process improvements to reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental impacts.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and site-wide programs.
  • Conduct safety and industrial hygiene assessments.
  • Analyze trends, evaluate sampling results, and provide actionable recommendations to address workplace hazards and compliance risks.
  • Lead the EHS training strategy and delivery program.
  • Identify organizational training needs and ensure employees have the knowledge and tools necessary to work safely and effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 4–5 years of experience, as identified in the job details.
  • Experience supporting environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, and OHSAS/ISO 45001 requirements and management systems.
  • Experience with risk identification, incident investigation, engineering controls, and process improvements.
  • Experience conducting safety assessments and industrial hygiene assessments.
  • Ability to analyze trends, evaluate sampling results, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing and delivering EHS training strategies and programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with operations, engineering, and facilities teams.
