About the role

The Pharmacist in Charge will oversee pharmacy operations in Bronx, New York, including preparing and dispensing pharmaceuticals, leading pharmacy technicians, and managing day-to-day responsibilities. This role requires a PharmD with a current license to practice, at least three years of retail pharmacy manager experience, strong oral and written skills, and the ability to use a Patient Management System in the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of pharmacy technicians.
  • Manage the overall day-to-day responsibilities of the pharmacy.
  • Support effective retail pharmacy operations and workflow.
  • Utilize the Patient Management System in the pharmacy.
  • Apply prior retail pharmacy management and leadership experience to oversee pharmacy activities.

Required Qualifications

  • PharmD degree and a current license to practice.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy manager experience.
  • Experience managing retail pharmacy operations.
  • Ability to utilize a Patient Management System in the pharmacy.
  • Excellent oral skills.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, normally between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
